Wenjia Wang is a spatial practitioner and researcher
whose work persistently explores what the body experiences before language arrives
through site-specific participatory installations, performance, and film.
Her practice seeks to re-entangle bodies with the forces that surround them: geological rhythms, climatic shifts, cultural textures, and the more-than-human world. Her installations make these forces present, creating conditions where resonance circulates between spatial conditions and collective bodies, and where Film carries that vibration forward.
She holds an MA in Interior and Spatial Design from UAL Camberwell (Distinction) and a BA from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, and she has designed immersive exhibition environments for public science museums in China.
Based between London and Qingdao. Open to collaborations, residencies, and conversations across disciplines.
